You Can Say You Were There.

A Team of Sound: Synesthesia

DJ Glitterboy

A union of the senses.
A chemical synapse.
A musical experience.

We know you're all still out there (out here?) and we'd like to welcome you, us, everyone back to teamsound after a long hiatus of crappy maintenance and inactivity. Sorry, guys!

Anyway, we're back with more musical curiosity and taste than ever before.

Last concert you attended? Concert you're excited to attend soon/in the near future?

ME; Cursive at the Musical Hall of Williamsburg was kickass. Peasant (think a less volatile, yet still cuddly-sad Conor Oberst) was first, then The King Left... which would have been better had the istruments not drowned out the vocals and I had I not had so many Fall Out Boy connections in sound. And don't get me wrong, that's not no damn dis to FOB, but we've already got one, yes? So all in all, Cursive, hella cool. You read it here first.

And here second? (Scroll way down in the comments for an accurate setlist, if you'd like.)

Check out this band: Cloud Cult.
There's an amazing story behind them. Read about it, have a listen.
Download my favorite song by them? Okay.

Favorite new artist/band? They don't have to be new new, just new to you.
Me, I'm enjoying some Metro Station and Rise Against lately. Oh and let's count Blaqk Audio too.
And I'm always in love with Voxtrot. Just putting that out there.

Any Day Now.

Stiff Kittens.
I need some good bands to listen to while I'm moving around for a month. Something akin to Brand New or Bright Eyes. That's kind of where I am right now; smart lyrics & all. Care to share?

Stiff Kittens.

What bands have you listened to the most this week? Any particular reason for it?
Me, I've been playing a lot of Bright Eyes, Brand New, Datarock, AFI, and +/- in the past week. I think I've even been focusing more on lyrics than sound lately. Not unusual.

Get Specific.

Stiff Kittens.
I'm needing some bitter girl music right now.
Any thoughts? What do you listen to when you feel like losing it?

i know ya'll are going to laugh at me for this, but does anyone have Thriller by Micheal Jackson that they could upload for me? I'd appreciate it a ton.

Stiff Kittens.

I'm procrastinating right now. So I was wondering...
What's your latest guilty pleasure song?
My friends have made me listen to "Girlfriend" so much lately that I almost - almost - enjoy it.

Okay. blxsh's post about P9 in SI reminded me that I was going to announce here that someone needs to supply me with a whole album zip because all I've got is like, one song and it's making me sad.

So, in closing: P9 album. Mighty need. Please & thank you :D

The Recent.

Stiff Kittens.

So I don't know about you, but I definitely feel like adding some new music to my ever-expanding collection. It's probably always a good time for updating musical libraries, right? Yeah.
List ten of your most newly loved bands/singers, okay? Some stuff for good days, some for bad, etc. And we always need music to thrash to, you know.
My Current Ten:
Regina Spektor
The Matches
Sneaker Pimps
The Feeling
Escape The Fate
Echo & The Bunnymen
